Musical brain farts.
Let me explain. This is what I call it when for no rational or logical reason some obscure song or bit of music pops into my head or I wake up in the morning with it and usually makes me go : "Where the hell did that one come from!"
It's not a new song that I just heard or one of my all time favs, I mean it's usually songs that I hate, or some TV jingle from my youth or what really perplexes me is when it's a song that I don't really know or am quite indifferent to.
Examples:
"Swollow my Pride" by the Ramones. Much coolness here as I am a big Ramones fan but don't know why I wokre with it in my head this morning.
"Worst things that I can do." from the Grease soundtrack sung by Stockard Channing. I'm not a musical fan.I'm not really much of a Grease fan and haven't listened to the soundtrack or seen the movie in years.
"Gaslight village" theme. This one is out there. I mean Gaslight Village was a an amusement park on the Canadian USA border when I growing up in the 70's ( NO OLD FART JOKES!). It's been close, I believe, for 20 odd years so I don't know where this won came out of!!!!
I keep thinking that my brain is this 70's old school computer with limited data storage space and that brain farts are just useless facts that are being deletd to create space for all the new Swedish words that I am learning.
Oh great....now I got "GAslight Village" stuck in my head again! Oh well gotta go have breakfast.
"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaslight village! Yesterdays fun todaaaaaaay!!!!!! Dodi-oh do, dodi-oh do, do do!!!!
